"92 Points- Wine Spectator. Sleek, crisp and vibrant, offering floral strawberry and sweet ginger aromas, with luscious raspberry and lemon fruit, plus accents of spice and mineral, followed by a bone-dry finish."
"90 pts Wine Spectator Stylish, with a fresh sanguine note running through the core of black cherry and blackberry confiture flavors. Picks up additional spice and red licorice notes on the finish."
"The 2008 Rauzan-Segla (62% Cabernet Sauvignon and 38% Merlot) was made from 45% of the production. It is a beautiful wine in this vintage, not nearly as powerful and structured as the 2010, but it has complex notes of sweet red and black fruits, unsmoked cigar tobacco, spice box and a hint of very subtle wood. The complex perfume is followed by a dark ruby/plum-colored wine with beautifully sweet tannins, a silky, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, and a long finish. This outstanding Margaux should drink nicely for 15-20 years."
"Youthful purple color. Fresh redcurrant and cherry aromas are complemented by mocha and pipe tobacco. Lively and precise, with a refreshingly bitter quality to its tangy red and dark berry flavors. Closes with firm grip and dusty tannins, leaving spice and zesty red fruit notes behind."
"Excellent. This wine displays nice herbaceousness, but it is made in a classic style, with loads of spice as well as mocha-infused black currants and sweet cherries. Muscular tannins give this red a broad-shouldered character. It is elegant, cleanly made, and should drink nicely for at least a decade or more."
"A Merlot with vibrant fruit character. Bright, ripe black cherry, raspberry and plum aromas combined with subtle notes of mocha. Pleasantly soft and juicy with balanced flavors, supple texture and well-rounded tannins."
"93+ Points- Wine Advocate. Represents the epitome of elegance and minerality. Its deep ruby/purple color is accompanied by sweet red and black fruits intermixed with notes of spring flowers and crushed rocks, a layered mouthfeel, superb nobility and remarkable intensity offered in a finesse-filled format."
"95+ Points - Wine Advocate. Dense, backward, and structured, it has all the right stuff but patience will be required. Give it 6-8 years of additional cellaring and drink this currently brooding behemoth from 2017 to 2033."
"Bold blackberry fruit is framed by notes of graham crackers or vanilla wafers. A bit crisp and lacking flesh, but showcases vibrant fruit, ending on a dry, dusty, tannic note."
"A blend of 97% Mourvedre and 3% Grenache, with 20% stem inclusion. It attacks the palate with big dark fruit and spice, complexity, structure and concentration. Decant and drink it now or age it for many years to come."
