Here's a little teaser recipe for one of the items we'll be serving tomorrow at the Valentines Night In - Wine and Food Pairing tasting we're hosting at Kahn's Downtown tomorrow evening, 5-7pm. We'll have plenty of food, make sure you swing by.
I hope this wets your appetite, cook an appetizer just like you may have had before at Barcelona Tapas downtown!
Goat Cheese in Tomato Sauce, served over Crostinis or with Toasted Garlic Bread.
Prep – 5 min Cook – 25 min Serves 6
What you’ll need:
8 oz Goat Cheese
1 Cup Marinara, Pasta sauce, or Tampenade
Basil leaves – optional garnish
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Pat goat cheese into a ½ inch cake and place in a shallow baking dish. Ladle tomato sauce into dish, surrounding but not covering the cheese. Bake 25 min uncovered until sauce begins to bubble and cheese is hot.
Serve hot over crostinis, flatbread, or toasted garlic bread. For an added touch garnish with fresh basil.
